Inexperienced, without formal meteorology education, chasers recklessly going after weather porn was bound to end poorly.

Even actual research meteorologists with published papers got killed doing this. Seems like it should have been obvious getting into a legal agreement with a bunch of whoevers was a bad idea.

Then again, with TWC allegedly asking others to essentially step over dead bodies to grab damning evidence, they probably knew that to begin with. What a mess.

In just fourteen (14) of these videos (a mere fraction of roughly 223 posted videos) the pair runs approximately eighty (80) stop signs, four (4) red lights, and one (1) out-of-service traffic light.

I used to love watching shows about storm chasers but it has got so far out of hand. Some of these guys TWC are throwing on the screen shouldn't be driving much less storm chasing.

They've been showing old video from the Storm Chasing videos on some OTA channels. I think they were circa 2005 or so and the one massive vehicle got in trouble for driving badly. Some of those guys get WAAAY too excited (Reed Timmer I'm looking at you). He was the best at getting to the right area.

I'd like to think that if TWC would go under, we could get away from this ridiculous weather sensationalism, but I know better.

I have a buddy who is a storm chaser. They often exceed the speed limit going after storms. He says they often blow right by cops, who look the other way because they know they are storm chasers. The weird part is, my buddy isn't doing this/working for anyone. He's just a weather nerd and he uploads videos to the internet. He's also a pretty good amateur photographer who has actually sold one of this photos for an album cover. He likes to take photos of weird cloud formations and lightning strikes. He also does some pretty impressive photographic landscapes. He has his own website for his photos.

Again, he's not a professional photographer, but a hobbyist. He also shot a full-length movie for another friend. It's on Youtube somewhere, but I can never find it. It's called "The Amazing," which should tell you why I have trouble finding it. When you search for The Amazing no Youtube, all these Spider-Man videos come up. It's a horrible, horrible movie, but my friend only shot it. He had no creative control over the writing or acting.

Its all for clicks, attention and viewers. Its why they name every storm, push the end of the world weather system every other week, and then push each current decades apocalypse climate crisis like a broken record. Its all about money.
Normal weather patterns, typical climate shifts and unnamed storms don't generate hysteria and in turn don't generate income for them. They have created weather paparazzi.
Some day people will realize its all a publicity stunt and call BS.
