A nice shower early to get everything a little muddy and clearing out soon.

I haven’t been to a game in a few years. Any worry about the grass lots closing?

I assume it's pry too late for that. Maybe section people out of areas with standing water but I dont think it was a ton of rain this morning.

I feel like when the University closes the grass lots they should work with the city to have people park at Ames High and the Waterpark and then run Cyride shuttles. Seems like a no brainer.

Amen brother... I'm always freaking out!!

You know that feeling when you're tilting back in your chair and you go back a little too far and nearly lose it and fall back..... that's how I feel ALL the time..... it's awesome!!

The safe word with BF and I is ….. Punt.

WHO-TV weather team strikes again. Yesterday afternoon the forecast for today was storms early, clear by mid-day, storms/showers late night into the overnight. It's now 3:15, it's been raining basically all day and there's a line of storms coming in. Always fun planning on cooking outdoors for a large group based on the forecast less than 24 hours ago just to find out that said weather forecast less than 24 hours ago is another hot pile of garbage and completely off. Third time this summer/fall I've based outdoor cooking plans on WHO forecasts just to be f*cked over. They are just so, so bad at this.

I don’t think that WHO was the only one that had trouble predicting today’s weather. Not even close.

Should have already, but yeah will definitely default to someone else for local weather. WHO weather is so f*cking bad at what they do. It's a shame, they seem like nice people, but they seriously suck at weather. It is literally downpouring in Warren County.
