Is there any dates/timeframes that would be associated with said storms or is it just to vague to tell?

Pretty vague at this point. Sometimes Thursday, sometimes Friday, though neither of those have been terribly menacing.

Saturday PM looks a little more like there could be some accumulations, with a strong clipper that could bring a pretty raw shot of arctic air in for Sun/Mon.

Don't get too hung up on it yet, 5-7 days out is tough, especially when you've got several systems that would potentially be moving through. Not a ton of model consensus yet either.

Any updates on these?

Seems like the last 3 or 4 winters have been brutally colder than normal. I remember winters 10 years ago being a lot more tolerable.

This is like an old time weather spell like 1958 or 1963 or 1936 or 1896 or 1709 or 1610.

Really?? I thought this winter hasnt been to bad. There have been winters in the last where lows were minus for days and days in a row. Hell some days didnt get above 0.

The past few have been pretty bad... this one doesnt feel quite as bad, but that may be due to the overwhelming shittiness of last winter.
