Clonebydesign, I hate to break into your thread like this but I was just about to post this same thing. I have to rebuild my site from scratch and am looking for someone to help me make it look good. I was going to go to the university and see if a student wanted to earn a little extra money but am not sure who to contact over there.
By the way, I was over at a company called Global Reach in the research park and they do web design and also hosting. They are pretty high end so I don't think I can really justify the cost of using them for my simple stuff but they might be what you are looking for.

I would look into squarespace.com as well. Might suffice to the design you're wanting...

Squarespace is quite nice, used to use it before learning more. Actually I would still like to use them for the blogging, but reading their how-to in customizing your own template beyond the WYSIWYG editor they give you tends to make me daydream so I'm just designing my own site from scratch. I would be happy to work on either of your sites (or both depending on what I'm looking at for both), I guess it just matters on what you're wanting and etc.

FWIW. a good college kid with graphic design knowledge is all you would need. but you could get a good programmer for more customizations.

I know some good web developers if you are looking beyond just a basis webpage that have developed transaction based sites etc.
You didn't also create an ISU background that looks a lot like that St. Louis one, did you?
