Almost a guarantee that UNI drives all the way down the field on their first possession, and everyone (including myself) freaks out. Then Heacock unleashes hell.

ISU defense will be tough to score on. I imagine our OL leaning on that DL all game will pay off in the second half. I think UNI will stack the box and make it tough to run.

UNI will sell out, stack the box, and shut down our running game. And CMC will stubbornly believe we can, and should, be able to run it down their throat, and will run our RB's right into their wall all game long.

Our offensive game plan against UNI has been laughable multiple times. Running into a stacked box, no creativity. Hopefully Nate changes that narrative

I don't know how many times it takes to try running straight up the middle and getting nowhere to decide it's not working, but we have never reached that threshold for some reason.

Fingers crossed! Did we learn, are we willing to learn, change? If not, many fans will lose interest quickly.

And if not, we will get beat again by teams like KU, etc., teams that we should beat but may lose to because they play a more aggressive and unpredictable style.

CMC plays the worst possible offense against both UNI and Iowa... plays right into their hands. You will need to spread UNI and Iowa out, make their LBs cover our WR's and TE's and run sideline to sideline... but instead we will run, run, run... right into stacked boxes.

CMC has more than a little KF style in his coaching philosophy: stout D, run first keep it close O & win in the margins. But KF really works the ST & punt/field position much better. At least CMC has turned over the ST problems to an actual coach.
