I love the Shandy beers once summer comes around. They go down very nicely on a 90 degree day. The Shock Top lemon shandy is quite good.

New Glarus beers are good, most of them. Just toured their brewery this weekend and there was a tour group of ISU students there. I think they were grad students. They were surprised to see a Cyclone from Wisconsin there. I never did ask why they were there though.

Wisconsin is the best. Drank some spotted cow today tailgating at Miller Park.

Normally Great Lakes Brewing Company Dortmunder Gold, or if they have a seasonal that I like available, that.

GLBC Dortmunder Gold iz ze greatest beer in all ze vorld.

Lately, nada. Gave up beer back in January, until I get back into shape and lose the winter insulation.

Picked up the last two six packs of a great seasonal brew; New Belgium's Snow Day.

Looks like Newcastle Brown Ale here. Beer has grown on me. It's about all I drink now. I like to mix it up between their bottles and their Mini Keg they have.

Only tried the mini keg once. Do you notice a kind of "gasey" flavor maybe from whatever they use to pressurize the keg?

Cresco.

I'll be taking the Frankville cut-off on the way home tomorrow. Starting the day off w/a hike at Yellow River.

I'm finishing off the Leinie's Spring sampler I have. If I get done with that, on to the 312.

This thread makes me sad and incredibly jealous... I gave up beer about a month ago in order to stick with my diet for a while. I'm using beer as the incentive to reach my goal weight... I've got a long way to go. The worst part is that I have my beer fridge full of the whole line up of surly, founders rye pa & centennial, bells 2 hearted and hopslam... (the hopslam is the biggest tragedy as I have a case slowly losing its flavor)... I also have the 21st amendment back in black, the bells oarsmen, and a variety of sierra hanging around... This doesn't even include the big bottle collection I have for special occasions, (like friday nights).

Worse, I brew beer too, so I've got a stout and a maris otter/citra smash ipa on tap. Everything I'm brewing currently is a sour/brett so that the fermentation time is 6 months min, and most are over a year. I'm a beer travesty right now.
