Wells Fargo Arena problems

1. Took a while getting into the south side. Are Barnstormers games that bad?
2. Creighton drummer was too fast.
3. Nachos - I didn't get any or any jalepenos, the ladies working the concessions by the 315 section were taking a century and a half.

They were prepping food for halftime at 305 a few minutes into halftime. Apparently, they didn't know that basketball games have halftimes, and that Cyclone fans love to eat at halftime.

If that was the hot dog stand there, they also were extremely surprised that someone may need a Coke before the game too- both machines appeared to be down. I felt sorry for the people there, because they were apparently volunteers. We didn't even bother to try at half time.

I was suprised by the huge line at the ticket windows and will call prior to tip off. A lot of people must have waited and bought tickets the day of.

I bought tix a couple months ago online, but had to pick up at will call. Was in line about 10 minutes before game time but still missed tip-off due to crowds.

I don't know about others, but I was really impressed with the noise level that is generated inside Wells Fargo from fans. Often times it seems like the new arenas aren't as loud, but I have no complaints at all.

I was surprised at the crowd waiting to buy tickets today as well. I waited until today to buy also, but we made sure to come very early. We were in our seats 15 minutes before tipoff even after standing in line to get tickets for around 30 minutes or so. They need to think about setting up another ticket office to move people through more quickly. The ticket buying mob thing even happens for the Barnstormer games. It sounds like a lot of people waiting to buy tickets left, that's a lot of money lost.

I think that our huge win over Drake sold a couple thousand tickets. People who hadn't really thought about it probably wanted to check this team out, and it was a perfect time.

He was making a sarcastic reference to a thread from earlier this week. Apparently, we don't do jalapenos with nachos at Hilton.

And we do have consistent concession failures wherever we go. ISU fans like to eat, and this gives us something to complain about. It feeds two birds.
