my question would be what percent are abductions and what percent are coercion on easy prey for those sources. as a parent i would hope to have some control by raising children not to be manipulated or coerced by individuals. i think abductions into the industry do happen but more often than not i think coercion is the primary tool. also many victims are sold into the industry by parents or guardians and victims are often abused at an early age.

Does it matter? It still happens regardless of if they are abducted or coerced. Yes one is somewhat easier to avoid but it's not like teenagers are known for their judgement and trust.

I'm sick of all the "warning" facebook posts that are now popping up. Such as "My friend was driving blah blah and there were three guys staring at her blah blah they were obviously trying to abduct her blah blah blah".
