I saw that at Johns in Iowa City today but opted for the Destihl Vertex IPA instead. How does it compare with say Golden Nugget or PseudoSue?

In my mind, nothing else you can get in the Midwest compares to what Toppling Goliath puts out as far as IPA/APA's. Outside of that, I think Enjoy by is one of the best.

Destihl makes an interesting sour and supposedly coming out with a few more.

lucky.

i can't wait for Christmas in Decorah. i am thinking i will just set a tent up that weekend on their patio since no one will probably be using it. maybe build a snow fort!

i will be picking up some Santa Fe Black IPA for tonight.

Are you in New Mexico? I would drink nothing but Elevated IPA if I were even close to NM.

LA LA Land
I recently moved to LA and have been drinking the very porn-sounding Cali Creamin' cream ale from San Diego pretty much non-stop. Highly recommend if you come across it or are in southern California. Like the best cream soda I ever had, except still tastes like rich beer at the same time.

Had a couple beerskis earlier, but am finishing the night with a Manhattan. The lady was out for a "girl's night" so I took advantage by eating junk food, enjoying some good drink, and watching basketball. Chalk one up for me.

i had some of the Enjoy By tonight and it was really good. Parts of it resemble TG Light Speed (which I also enjoyed tonight) with a little more hop body. Definitely a good beer. I'll be enjoying more by the 26th that's for sure. Hopefully a few next Friday night after a Clone victory at Carver

Had a few good drinks at FireTrucker but then headed over to Old Chicago to try out West O CoCo and it's one of the best new stouts I've had in a long time. A must try.

Opened a bottle of Boulevard Love Child #4, which I've been saving for a few months. Excellent sour. Also liked a Two Brother Cane and Ebel rye beer.

If anyone's answer is not some form of an Oskar Blues beer today...you're doing it wrong.

A lot of it in stock at my local hy-vee today. The only one I want to try that I haven't is Pinner Throwback IPA. Already had and liked TenFidy, Dale's, Devient Dale's. Didn't like Old Chub but that's not a style I like.
