I met Ed Manning once. Nice guy.

Kansas' Larry Brown brought him in as an Asst. coach---a year ahead of Danny Manny, Ed's Parade all-american 5-Star bluechip son

Not sure if Ed had any coaching experience LOL

Ed Manning played 2 seasons for Larry Brown in the ABA for the Carolina Cougars from '72-'74.

Didn't NC State do something with helicopters recently that helped them land a couple nice recruits?

I think dorms would be a great recruiting tool. Maybe not for only for basketball, but for all athletes. Also include a dining center with it as well. This would be a great recruiting, especially for in state talent since I don't think Iowa has athletic dorms.

The only thing with dorms, is that for the number of dorms you have for athletes, you have to have the same number of dorms for regular students. I think Kentucky did this, they have 24 dorm rooms where half of them go to regular students, I think this is to be in compliance with NCAA regulation.

Iowa is building them along with their upgrades to Kinnick.

Louisville just had their hookers show up to the basketball dorm.

It's own reality tv show ala big brother (non-profit of course) so we can get our fill during off season.
