Cuz you have so many NFL players and stuff, right? You'd win 60 straight national titles if only you could play in the Little 10, right? There isn't a team in the Big-10 with less NFL talent over the past decade than ISU, moron.

Not to feed the troll, but have you ever heard anybody that's actually a fan make any of those arguments? I highly doubt it, and if you said yes, you're clearly a liar... which I feel is already a proven fact due to the ridiculousness of your online presence the past 10 minutes.

ISU doesn't have that much talent, we do more with less. Everybody knows that.

ISU probably will never win a National championship in football. This is not a surprise. Iowa won't probably ever win one either, and if they do, they'd have to have ridiculous luck a la 2009.

I'd take that bet.

You'd be almost as big of an idiot as this guy if you didn't. Heck, I'd take us to win 10 games if we played ANY schedule. I'll take teams like Ohio, Bowling Green, Middle Tennessee State, Louisiana Tech, etc...

How can this guy say schedule doesn't matter?

Haha, also love the defensiveness of this little hawk fan. Poor guy just can never get a last word it! It's gotta be difficult being inferior and having to worry about it all the time.

Na, I don't think ISU would have won any national titles in iowa's conference. But we'd win more games, because, ya know, it's an easier conference. Easier teams, easier schedules, less talent, less depth, less speed (you know the drill).

O and this years Texas team (The same one getting thrashed by dominant OU) would beat iowa by 3 touchdowns. The hawks wouldn't even have to turn the ball over. It'd be fun to watch.

*Note: You capitalized "little" in your post. No capitalization required/earned from that conference. It's "little 10" or whatever the number of bad teams are in that conference these days.

Ok, enough is enough...

Quit crying. Quit your jealousy. I'm sorry you can't ever win and won't ever win.

And I'm going to let you in on a secret...

You won't ever win and haven't ever won because you don't have talent. Not because your schedule is so tough. Your schedule is so tough because you don't have to play yourself every year. Crappy teams have tough schedules because they replace a game with a crappy team with a game against a good team, since they can't play themselves. For example, Oklahoma would likely play a weaker schedule than Iowa State because in one of the games on their schedule, Oklahoma plays Iowa State, while Iowa State plays Oklahoma.

Here's the thing...

Iowa is better than Iowa State darn near every year because, well.... Iowa has better players. Sorry, it's true. And your jealousy of Iowa is pathetic. This constant nonsense about the Big-10 is a joke. You guys have an inferiority complex, and threads like this only prove my point.

Is the Big-10 weak this year? Is water wet? I don't think anyone in their right mind could argue otherwise. Is Iowa going to take advantage of that? I hope so. We will know as the season progresses.

Would ISU fare better over the past decade in the Big-10 than Big-12? No. Sorry, but you wouldn't have. A bad team is a bad team. Conference strength doesn't change that. The Big-12 North has been horrible for a decade and ISU still couldn't manage to find their way into the conference championship game once. You had 4-5 easy conference games every year, 3 weak OOC opponents, and the best you could do was 7 wins in any of those years. So what makes you think joining the Big-10 would have changed anything? If your argument is "well, the Big-10 has tons of bad teams", here's my rebuttal.... the Big-12 also has bad teams AND ISU has consistently lost to MANY of those (i.e. Baylor, Okie State and Mizzou before they got good, Kansas, etc.). You are only a toss-up against most bad teams. So how does joining an alleged weaker conference make your record any better?

As for this year...

The Big-12 isn't any good either. You have 2 great teams in the conference (OU, Okie State) and the rest is nothing special, mostly mediocre. Wow, congrats on having so many ranked teams. Too bad most of them are actually lousy. Texas is horrible. And that's an understatement. Iowa would beat Texas by 17........in Austin. K-State is terrible. Baylor is a 1-man team. A&M is pretty good, but they are basically this year's version of 2010 Iowa - a bunch of chokers. Who else is ANY good? Mizzou? I laughed. Taco Tech? lol? Kansas? haha! Iowa State? Never have been.

You have 2 games against great teams in a 12 game schedule and you're whining about the schedule? This is why you are, and always will be Iowa State.

Now, ISU did beat Iowa on the field. And they were most certainly better on that day. Is ISU the better team? No. But they're close enough in talent to beat Iowa at home in a rivalry game the 2nd week of the season. You won a game by 3 points in 3 OT's at home the 2nd week of the year. Iowa will end up winning more games than Iowa State.... many more games. Not because of the schedule. Because they have a lot more upside than Iowa State due to a boatload more talent. And because of that upside, Iowa will improve as the season progresses, while ISU will remain the same mediocre team they were when the 2 teams faced. You have no upside. You have no hope for the future. You will never be good. You could join ANY conference and you would still be a bottom feeder. Why? Because you have no talent. You have no potential to recruit decent players or good enough coaching staffs to stay for the long-haul. You never send anyone to the NFL. Iowa does...consistently.

I know this is going to p*ss you guys off, but the fact remains...it's all true. And you cannot dispute it.

Iowa traditionally improves throughout the season more than ISU because they have more talent. Not because the schedule is weaker. I mean, I know that Big-12 North was always sooooo difficult. Wow, K-State, Kansas, Colorado, Mizzou......ooooooeeeeeeyyyy!! MEATGRINDER!!!

Look at the NFL and compare Iowa and ISU's talent. Where are your draft picks? Where are your impact NFL players? Iowa's got tons of them. And if you don't think having NFL talent matters in college, you're a moron. Go look at the teams that contend for national titles and tell me how many of them don't have rosters full of NFL caliber players. You never have any, and that's why you never win. Your quarterback is terrible and fluked his way to success in 1 game. And what a shock....it just so happened to be against Iowa. Kind of like Brett Culbertson making probably the only 5 kicks he made in his career.....against Iowa. Amazing how that happens, hu?

Enjoy your annual 4-8 records and continued jealousy of Iowa. I'll just continue to enjoy not being Iowa State. Keep up that inferiority complex/loser mentality. That's why you are and always will be Iowa State. Sucks to be you.

You my friend are the reason why every other fan base hates Iowa and Iowa fans. Hope you enjoy having a small **** and always trying to spin off of why Iowa loses to ISU and does not win the national title every year.

Go back to Hawkeye nation.

Correct. Neither Iowa State nor iowa will ever win a national championship in football.

Did he get the ip ban-hammer already? Or did he have to go to his hoktavern for the big game against such a great B1G opponent (who is clearly better than ISU in every way)?

...we were having so much fun with him.

Can you read?

I explain HOW Iowa is better and stated the schedule has NOTHING to do with it.

I said they will end up the better team because they have more UPSIDE due to superior talent. ISU has ZERO potential to improve throughout the year. You do the math... ISU wins AT HOME in triple OT the 2nd week of the year against a team with actual upside. Who the heck do you think is going to end up being the better team at the end of the season? Doesn't take a DMACC education to figure that one out, does it?

You make unsubstantiated claims and provide nothing to back them up. Your fellow Hawk fans think you are stupid. So do we. Iowa has more talent than ISU. Doesn't mean they are a better team. Clemson is routinely the most talented team in the ACC but they never win it. Talent doesn't mean you're a better team.

This is a brilliant statement. I am amazed a Hawk fan could understand such a complicated concept. You could have used any team as an example compared to any other better team on their schedule.
