I'm with you on the first sentence. I'm not sold on the idea that classy is totally necessary. It may not be classy to call out Pierce or Mizzou-what-ever-his-name-was (cap guns), but it certainly was necessary. I agree with keeping their families out of it if that is what you mean by classy.

I think the guy you're referring to is Steve Stipanovich (sp?) - he played for Norm Stewart's team in like the late 70's, early 80's. That was hilarious because the whole incident involved him shooting himself accidentally while handling a gun. I think at first the story came out that he was robbed at gun-point, but he later recanted the story saying he was too embarrassed to admit he shot himself. The entire Big 8 fanbase jumped his case for the entire season and security officers had to eject fans who were shooting off cap guns during the game - especially when he was at the FT line.

Now, I don't see anything wrong with that

There has to be a way to rub Marble's face in his "Elite" comments with some chants. Marble can't be left out of the line of fire as he has a tendency to disappear when the going gets tough. It won't get any tougher then when he steps into Hilton.

When Marble goes to the line, start up a chant of Mon-te's bet-ter, clap, clap, clap-clap-clap. You're killing two birds with one stone, supporting one of our guys while trying to get in Marble's head.

Wow...some of you must have never had hardships in your life. Call me old-fashioned, thin-skinned, etc. if you want to.... but if a poster appeared like that in our crowd, I'm afraid it would say alot more about the artist then the person being ridiculed. Yikes.
