Football season can't come fast enough for us. So where does your excitement for this coming season rank compared to past seasons?

The offseason between CPR's first and second seasons was pretty high on my list. But this Campbell staff is doing and saying all the right things. I can't believe how excited and optimistic I am for this season given the results of the last 4 or 5 seasons. And it just happens to coincide with my excitement for my Vikings' season too. ;)

When were you at your most excited before a football season?

I refuse to get overly hyped when things are going well and depressed when there is a set back. I just stay calm and trust THE PLAN! I learned this from watching CMC at Toledo.

With the recent heat wave I am much more excited for football to get here than I was a week ago. So I'm going to go with very excited.

Since I live out of state. I'm to a point where assuming ISU is mediocre at best this year, there is plenty of other good football to watch.

Always ready for football season. Not excited yet because we have no idea what to expect. Definitely not allowing myself to have expectations at this point either.

Very excited. I think we're going bowling this year
I have never understood why fans always base the season on going to a bowl game. I'd take watching ISU play ANY Big XII game home or away, compared to ISU playing a MAC team in Shreveport, in the rain, in late December.

Ummmmm...I renewed my MBB basketball tickets today. :D

As for football - I'm looking forward to it, but I don't have quite the preseason excitement level I used to have when we had season tickets. I loved the game atmosphere and we were always excited for the season to start even when the results weren't grand. Watching on TV is less...fulfilling...
