re-watching Archer on Netflix. My god, what an incredible show. I'd forgotten some of the great episodes. Basically every episode in the first 3 seasons is a banger

Just finished Slow Horses on AppleTV+ and it’s a really good watch. I would recommend if you’re into the MI5 intelligence agency type shows. It seems like most of my favorite shows lately are coming out of the UK.

Moved on to Masters of the Air and I have high hopes but I’m not sure about it yet after a single ep.

Watching Evil on Netflix. Almost done with season 2. Pretty good storylines, unique, above average acting.

Watched Dead Boy Detectives over the weekend and loved it. The supernatural investigation shows are either really good or really bad. This was on the really good side. If you watched Lockwood & Co, it’s basically that but with humor throughout. Haven’t watched Sandman yet, but DBD is apparently part of the same new “universe” and they want to turn it into a franchise. Also the reason it will stick around instead of Lockwood & Co.

There is so much stuff out there I never rewatch anything, but I’ve rewatched those seasons of archer several times. Just absolutely hilarious

I really liked the book Dark Matter by Blake Crouch and the Apple adaptation is pretty spot on through 3 episodes.

Is anyone else watching "Outer Range" on Amazon? Season 2 just came out last week.

It's quite an odd show and isn't for everyone, but there's enough of a mystery with some really cool elements to hold my interest. I like the mix of "Yellowstone" with some "X-Files" and even a bit of "Twin Peaks" type of weirdness thrown in for good measure.

that baby reindeer show was anxiety producing, dumb.
I can't figure out enough from the preview to understand if it's a comedy, drama, romance, thriller, or what. Looked kinda slow and stretched out in the trailer, but those are always hit or miss on the actual results.

We just started Mad Men. I have wanted to watch it for a while, and the wife finally came around to the idea (since we're mostly out of options at the moment).

I think you'll enjoy it if you embrace that it's more of a mood and a setting and study of humanity than it is twists and turns and resolutions/reveals. Objectively just the way it looks and the acting is some of the best episodic tv ever.

I'm a sucker for this sort of thing. X-Files and Twin Peaks are probably my two favorite shows (maybe along with Curb but that's so different). Even as a kid I was watching reruns of the old Twilight Zone whenever I could find them. I was kind of shocked I didn't get into it and finish it, could have just been my mood though.

Oh wow, we watched the first season and were just wondering if they'd make another. Very cool news

Anybody else watch Ripley on Netflix? I've heard some great stuff but I just don't know if it's for me.

Finished episode 8 of fallout. I liked how it ended actually. Storyline is nice and complex with lots of moving parts and multiple characters to take the lead. Definitely keeping the spirit of the game with the content.

I started watching Outlander on Starz. I knew nothing about the series going in, other than what was on the screen. It says it's a Sci fi genre, about a nurse in post WW2 England, recently married travels back in time. She then finds a new husband, but then goes back forward in time. It was based on a book. After watching a few episodes I'm guessing it was a smutt book. There ends up being a lot of full nude scenes and simulated sex, basically soft core porn. I'm kind of committed to the story line now, so I may have to watch all 7 seasons.

Long story short - im watching it for the storyline, but it's probably porn.:)

Just finally killed everybody off on "Six Feet Under" (had never seen it before).

Damn.

Every stinking one of them was loathsome. Every. Stinking. One.
