What was the first ISU football game you attended?

My first Iowa State football game was November 15, 1992. You all know the game.

I was 7 years old, and distinctly remember a Husker fan who had to be in his 70s sitting next to me with tears flowing like a waterfall. :yes:

1969 against kansas I think jock johnson had a big punt return. Been a cyclone ever since.

That was Tom Elliott returning the punt, set a Big 8 record of 96 yards and outran John Riggins for the TD.

One of Bosworths trips to Ames I remember half the team running out on the field with both middle fingers up with the Bos leading the way.

Funny you say this. As the players walked out my dad grabbed my arm, turned to me and said something to the effect of......."thats not what a player should act like, watch the Cyclones when they play....you act like them." Love my dad!

Also, on my recruiting trip to ISU(1996 game against Nebraska) Irving Fryer's son who played for Nebraska started flippin off the ISU crowd in the 4th quarter. It was snowing, the game was getting away from us, and Osborne was running up the score again. Everyone started booing and he put up the bird!
