The mod team assumed that those were jokes, but we get things wrong. If you disagree, which is great, report it.
I get it. Anonymous posters that repeatedly trash what most here love are off limits, but it is open season on the coaches and players that this site exploits for the sake of profit. Sad.
Sorry, didn't know this would become a trash Angie (mods) thread. And yes, this is me kissing a little rear on Friday.

Amen. I'm sick and tired of SighClone Arik trashing everything about ISU and exploiting those poor student athletes. We must think of the children!
Get real, Clark. These children have no future.
Prove me wrong, kids! Prove me wrong!

It doesn't surprise me that a hawk fan wouldn't understand the point. Posters aren't the ones exploiting ISU athletics. Cyclone Fanatic is more about increased traffic then what is in the best interest of ISU athletics. Therefore, they will tolerate relentless negativity toward ISU programs and players because they believe it leads to increased traffic, and thus increased revenue.

I think you missed the joke. Sure there are negative nancies on this board, just like there are on every single message board that was ever created. The joke was that the OP called out Erik, who isn't exactly a pessimist.
Also, why are you here if you feel this way?
LOL. Yeah, you got it. That's why you're paying such a high cost to post on these boards. I know Jeremy sure started this site thinking how he could get rich quick - you know, that's why he didn't sell ads or charge membership fees.
Does any site benefit from increased readership? Obviously, that's sort of how the internet works. But if you met any of the guys actually owning or administrating the site, you'd realize how far off-base you are. Every single one of the owners are huge ISU fans, and while this IS a business, it's first and foremost a place for them to share that passion.
But, if you don't like the site, there's always the little red X in the upper right of your browser.
I'm a big fan of ISU athletics, but I will be honest I'm find myself getting very turned off by the evolution of this site.
