When is the proper time to start playing Christmas Music?

Day after Thanksgiving. At the absolute earliest, the week of Thanksgiving. I need a couple of weeks to ease into it, and as was stated before, Thanksgiving always seems to get the shaft and it shouldn't

I'll cut Hobby Lobby some slack (though it threw me off the first time I saw it so early)

The ONLY reason I'll cut them some slack is because they are a craft store, and people who do arts and crafts stuff usually want to work on that prior to the holiday season so they are ready with their crafts for the appropriate season.

That is the ONLY market that is appropriate to have such a long lead in to a holiday.

There is no excuse for Christmas lights to be hitting store shelves a week before Halloween :skeptical:

(or Thanksgiving for that matter - I meant I saw lights on store shelves a week before Halloween, not that it is ok for them to be up after Halloween)

Totally with ya on this one. Probably one of my biggest pet peeves of all times

Right after you're done with my eulogy. I love Christmas but Christmas music has to be some of the worst music ever recorded...right up there with the Black Eyed Peas.
