I just found out I have an interview for a promotion at work on Thursday. I came home today to try on my suit and came to find out what I already knew...I got fat. Needless to say, I know need to buy a new suit. Any suggestions in or around WDM on where to get a decent suit and a good price? I won't have to wear it for work everyday so I don't need a really nice Italian suit or anything crazy. Just something I would wear once or twice a year. Thanks CF!

Your best bet is probably going to Younkers and getting suit separates so you won't have to get anything tailored or hemmed.

I'm graduating this semester so I went to find a suit. Since I know nothing about them I went to the place that I'd heard of, Men's Wearhouse. I got two really nice suits and the people there were very helpful in describing how to wear one with what accessories and such. But, it did cost about double of what I was expecting even with the buy one, get one for $100 deal.

Men's Wearhouse has an awfully good selection and some pretty decent prices.

I will put in a suggestion for a CF sponsor, Mr. B's. After looking at Men's Warehouse, the department stores, and Jos A Banks and not being able to find a single sport coat I liked I went to Mr. B's and they had exactly what I wanted about 5 minutes after I described it. But I will admit I am very picky with some things and it may be more than some would want to spend but its worth a look.

The issue with Mens Wearhouse will be tailoring. If you need it by Thursday, I'd be very surprised if they could have one ready in time. As another poster mentioned, you may be stuck with suit separates at this point.

I do NOT reccomend Men's Wearhouse. You want to look good for your interview.

I'd say Younkers in the mall there. I've gotten two suits there. I don't wear them ofter, couple of times a month, and they've held up very nicely over four years.

I also would not reccomend black. Get a charcol gray pinstripe or something of that measure. Black is just too bland.

Yeah, check on the tailoring, Mr. B's has in-house tailoring so apparently the do it while you wait. I haven't been there, but it's where I'd first look with the quick turnaround.

Where is the suitstore? We've been walking for minutes.

Brick, I thought you said this was a shortcut?

Fantastic!

I've always had great luck with Men's Wearhouse and the staff could not be more helpful.

NOT Jos. A. Banks. I have 2 suits from there (because I was duped by their sale promotions when I needed to stock up on suits), and they are easily the worst suits I have ever owned.

Gonna have to agree with Chris. Got one here last year when i graduated. It may cost a little bit more than men's wearhouse but you get what you pay for and the service was top notch.

Got a suit from Mr. B's about 15 years. It is the only suit I own and still going strong. I'll probably get buried in it.

Go to JCPenny's, ask for "Chuckles".

He's the big sweaty guy with lots of sugar in his blood. Yeah, he made me look damn good for my wedding!
