And I heard they have enough cap room to get a another top level guy. Imagine inserting Bosh/Amar'e into that lineup too.

If the sale goes through to that crazy Russian guy.. i'm sure he won't mind making it rain cash on players. The big appeal to Bosh or Amare signing there would be that neither would have to be pushed to play center, like they might have to elsewhere.

But they'll be playing in Newark for the next 2 seasons - it's still a few years out until the Nets move to Brooklyn.

Just did some research and apparently I heard wrong. The Nets will have about $26mil in cap space, so enough for only one max contract (about $16mil)

Many talking heads also think that the only way LeBron stays in Cleveland is if they have a new coach next year. They've had the best record in the NBA the past 2 seasons, but just can't get to the promised land. Players are already questioning player rotations and in-game decisions.

Some are also talking about the Bulls taking a stab at bringing back Phil Jackson to lure LBJ to Chi-town. This is contingent on LA not winning the title this year, and Chicago being willing to give him something in the neighborhood of $13-$15 mil to be their coach. I see this as a very long shot.

I'd actually like the media to make up their mind for once. Going into the playoffs the media was absolutely certain the Cavs were going to win the NBA title this year because LeBron was so dominant and he had the best supporting cast available. Now they get publicly embarrassed by the Celtics, and the same people in the media are now making the excuses that his supporting cast isn't good enough. Well, which is it?

my source told me that he really likes the north and the cold, so who knows i hear we're cutting the whole team, and then we'll have enough cap room.

Everyone thought it was good enough before the playoffs started. Now it obviously isn't, so the opinion changes. That's why they play the games. I don't see how this is an inconsistency.

Maybe you meant to quote someone else, but my post was talking about Cleveland's coaching staff, not their other players.

Why would he want to go to a team that already has a ball hog like dwade? i dont see them complementing each other at all much like melo and iverson...just dumb but go to a team like chicago, who is already a playoff team that has no superstar and u could easily carry that team to a championship...you already have your rodman and pippen just need the jordan

You might be right about Chicago, but I doubt Lebron would have that many problems sharing the ball with Wade. Wade HAS to score for Miami to be anything at all, and Lebron is more than happy dishing assists instead of winning scoring titles. This is the primary difference between him and Kobe.

and if you have these critics saying Lebron won't step up in the 4th.. well, Wade definitely could.

Not saying it will happen, but it could work.

The only way James is going to a NY team is if they get another big time player that compliments him, like Bosh or Nowitzki. Then you add a top draft pick, and instantly have a top 3 team in the east.

Chicago could also trade for Bosh or Nowitzki, b/c they have better trade bait and role players already there. Even without the big trade James would fit nicely on their roster, I just don't think it's a major upgrade from the Cavs.

Another X factor would be any of those teams landing a big time coach like Phil Jackson. I don't think Phil would coach in Cleveland, but he'd probably take the job in NY or Chicago for a big paycheck.

The Cavs will fire Mike Brown, and probably try to get rid of Jamison, who did nothing in the playoffs. They don't have much to trade for a big name, but the can pay him more than anyone else. It's not like he'll get more famous by going to a bigger city.

There's no way he's going to Miami to play with Wade who's virtually the same guy, but less talented. Beasley's a whack job, and the rest of the roster is a bunch of leftovers.

I don't know if Kobe has a no trade deal in his contract, but if I'm the Lakers I try to swap Kobe for Lebron and keep the title run going for another ten years.
