Without any research (read: I'm lazy) whatsoever, I have to think ISU and Iowa would hold their own against any other combo, including KU/Wichita St, MSU/UM, Duke/UNC, etc. I asked this in the other thread I posted about our UM win, but was lost in the ensuing avalanche of fighting w deanvogs and tm. Anyway, just thought it was interesting to think about.

Ku/wsu and mu/msu are tough, but iowa and isu would be right up there.

Unc might not make the tourney at this pace.

If UNC is a bubble team, which I'm sure they will be, I have no doubt they make the tourney.

I think they were a final four out finishing 20-17 and 10th in the ACC in 2010.

I would say Kansas, Iowa, Michigan, Carolina. Duke holding the Tar Heels up.

We can't quite consider Creighton to be in Iowa, but it is pretty close too. It is just amazing to think that ISU, Iowa, and Creighton are so highly ranked in the same year.

I thought that before watching them last night in person, they are legit. The Kansas combo is quite a bit better than iowa/isu

They could be legit, but go look at their schedule. There isn't any win on their entire schedule that you can point to that would tell me that they are for real. Is BYU their best win? It looks like it.

So they could be good, we just don't really know.

I agree they haven't beaten anyone, just saying they pass the eye test and the same team basically did make the final 4.

Ohio State and Cincinnati are both top 20 as of today too. Wouldn't be surprised is OSU fell out of the rankings tomorrow though.

I can't - in good conscience - put Kansas above Iowa. I think ISU and Iowa would both beat Wichita St but both would lose to Kansas. I think MSU and Michigan are the teams that would give us the most headaches if we played 20 games and took an average. Kansas would hold up the state of Kansas and Duke would hold up Carolina. Michigan and Iowa have a more consistent duo, imo.

Forgot about this one. I agree with this list other than maybe the order of the last 4.
