Haha I never pretended to be mature. Women's basketball just isn't my cup of tea, so I was poking fun at it. I think it's great people go and support Iowa State Athletics, and our women's team. I just personally don't want to watch it.

they did place them on seats ,but gave them to everyone even people who did sit above .watched a guy go and ask people if they wanted them .Sat with kids in lil clone they exchanged tiny shirt for big shirt.

That's fine that it's not your cup of tea I don't have a problem with it and I doubt anyone else does. Just don't go bashing them because of it. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean you have to berate the team (who is one of the most successful in the last 10 years) and the fans that do support them.

I'm all for bringing back everything about that OSU fb game atmosphere (w/o the OSU women's coaches tragedy of course.) Cyclone Nation was just electric and the gold towels were $. It'd be nice to see 14,000 of those things flying around in Hilton. A gold out game with gold towels and gold jerseys would be...you guessed it: GOLD!

Don't really understand why people bash women's basketball so much. I mean I enjoy men's more, but who doesn't? It's still entertaining. Bill Fennelly is one of the greatest coaches in the country and we have one of the best fanbases in the country for the sport. I was there today and the white out was great. It is worth taking a look at it for men's basketball too. It just creates a better atmosphere than the normal game. Get a sponsor like the one we had for the shirts today and it's really not that hard to accomplish. It's worth a try IMO.

Im sure watching division 1 womens basketball is decently entertaining especially a succesful team like ISU. However most of us remember watching JV and V girls basketball in high school where they couldnt make a breakaway layup and alot of games ended up being around 27-15....

Im surprised that we dont put out gold shirts for the Kansas game got season ticket holders if we can do it for womens bball. It would look super cool.

Quite right. I'm not sure what high school basketball has to do with Division I NCAA basketball. Especially when we are talking about the perennial top league in college BB.

Cyclone alley just posted a picture of a gold shirt with beat KU on it, don't know if its going to be a complete gold out with but apparently cyclone alley is at least planning something.

CA gives students gold shirts every year for the KU game. He was probably hoping for towels like the OSU football game.
