Ya, I know what does that have to do with anything? Just wondering if there is a few guys that have really changed their body shape, had big muscle gains etc.

Matt Leo does not count. That guy is ripped.

Getting excited for the season to start....

Ogu looks big and in shape..he gone be good imo.

True Frosh OL Rob Hudson is massive for a true Frosh and it ain't all fat..he might see field this year..

Lima is big cat as is Tongo

Honestly it's the biggest and most physically impressive top 10 on both sides I've seen in quite some time

Campos does if he stays healthy. I think Bailey does too.

Other than that... Not sure. Can't wait 'til Saturday to learn more about these groups.

Seems like everything I've been reading indicates that the players this staff has brought in look like P5 players. Just hope we can keep them on campus. Seemed like the last staff had problems keeping their players here. I mean how many seniors do we have that are contributing quite a bit?

I know you said Leo doesn't count. But my 6'3", 240 lbs son was behind Leo on Campus and he said he is absolutely gigantic. Hopefully he can play some football.

Definitely Uwazarike. I think that Meeker looks the part. Also, Jamal Johnson is a big, strong kid and I'd guess he'll be hard to move. Of course Campos, Leo, Tongamoa, Lima, JaQuan Bailey. IMO there's more guys that pass the eye test on the OL/DL than ISU has had in a long, long time.

How about Dylan Soehner? In some of the tapes from camp he really looks big and athletic. How awesome would it be to have a 275 lb TE to compliment Chase. I'm wondering if he will see the field this year as a Redshirt Freshman.

Maybe we'll actually look like a Big 12/P5 football team for once instead of always playing with undersized guys. I know in the past we've recruited undersized guys hoping to match the speed of our better opponents, but let's be honest here, we were really just small and slow.

This guy more than any other looks huge. He looks just like those huge tight ends Colorado used to have. There are going to be some teams that do a double take and ask where the hell did that cat come from.

I could be wrong, but I think he is going to have a very good career.

Bryce Meeker and Josh Knipfel are both large dudes. I think it'll be tough for the coaches to keep Knipfel off of the field.

Many defensive linemen look the part, but I'll say Josh Bailey. He actually lost weight during his RS year which leads me to believe that he leaned out and lost some baby fat. Looks good in camp photos and has put himself in position to get reps.

That's a real problem in football across all levels.

This is true but CPR and his staff made it really well known that they were recruiting lighter kids with frame potential. In other words they really liked 3 year projects. CMC and his staff are going after both size and skill and in another year we are going to look like a completely different team in the trenches.

That's a huge risk and you see the results.

To be fair to Rhoads, he had some early successes:

AJ Klein, Jake Knott, & Jeremiah George were all weight room work horses. Sadly, that trend didn't continue. His staff also did a good job of bulking up Jake McDonough, Cleyon Laing, and David Irving. But that was of course the standard formula of converting your largest D-ends. Twin towers Allen Lazard & Hakeem Butler were both Rhoads recruits.

I long for the day all our cornerbacks are over 5'10"
