Oklahoma is currently leading Ok State, but not by much. If Oklahoma wins, who do you think should get to play Missouri?

I believe that Tech is out of the picture at this point. If so, I think Texas should be the winner since they beat Oklahoma. What is your opinion?

Eh, I think Oklahoma is a better team now than when they played Texas.

It's too bad the Red River Shootout can't be at the end of the season.

I really dont understand the argument that Texas should go because they beat Oklahoma head to head. Why wouldnt Texas Tech be in that argument? Do people not remember that Tech beat Texas. This is just an idiotic argument. And by the way, the tiebreaker IS head to head. They are just all tied. The current system is the correct one, give the highest ranked team the chance to try for a national title. I just dont know how people cant understand that.

How is Tech out of the picture? The Big 12 is based on performance on the field. Its just like USC OSU in the pac ten, everyone knows USC is better, but you cant say OSU doesnt deserve it.

I think the point is who should be the highest ranked team by the voters.

What does last year have to do with this year?
Last 4 appearances....
2008 L 48-28 to West freakin Virginia
2007 L 43-42 to Boise freakin State
2005 L 55-19 to USC
2004 L 21-14 to LSU....the only respectable loss of the 4 (they lost to K-State in the Big XII championship game - the last time the North won the Big XII)

I firmly believe Texas belongs in this Championship game.....If things hold up with OU wining....

You tell me how a Coach could look in his players eyes and tell them we are not in the championship game, but the two teams playing......Missouri and OU.........We beat them both......

I do not care what formula you use, no other Team can say that.......

Say what?

The reason that Tech is mostly out of the argument is because of the horrid showing they had at Oklahoma which dropped them in the BCS rankings. There is no way that Tech beating Baylor will move them up enough spaces to think of winning the south; so the decision is between Oklahoma and Texas. Since Texas won head to head against Oklahoma, it should be Texas that should win.

You said that you thought this is the right system, this system does not provide Tech a chance at winning the south. Who do you want to win?

TT is out due to their horrid performance at Norman. Based on that it is between OU and Texas. Texas beat OU, therefore Texas should go to the B12 championship game. If you start to ignore the on field performance, then all of this talk about a playoff is bullocks.

Last play of the game......

You tell me how can you let two teams play for a Big 12 title that Texas has already beat both of them.......

It would be sad....imo

I will even go one step further .If it happens and Texas is not in this game, watch for a rule change next year gtd....
