Lets stop all the coaching threads and bowl game qb threads for a little bit and lets talk the draft. Other than KO and LJ who else has a chance to get to play on sundays? IMO Ter'ran Benton and Darius Reynolds have the best chance and maybe Hicks can get in there too. Anyone else you can think of?

I dont see any other players than KO and LJ getting picked. Hicks is too fat and lazy for the NFL. Too many penalties!!!

Reynolds has a decent chance just based on his blend of size and athleticism. It'll depend largely on how he performs at the combine, assuming he gets invited. If he runs a decent 40 then I'm sure someone will find room for him as a developmental project who can contribute on special teams right away.

I'd be surprised if he get's invited. He's gonna have to do it at the pro day.

I won't be surprised if LJ goes in the second round. Good cover guys are a big time commodity for teams that blitz a lot and leave their corners on an island.

He'll have to have a great combine/pro day.

I love how people think a full start penalty a game completely negates an entire game's worth of good blocking.

Thanks for regurgitating what Todd McShay and Mel Kiper think. You know, nto all pro scouts are lazy enough to let two hacks from ESPN do their work for them. I think both Osemele and Johnson go higher, because they are better than their current ranking.

I would love to see KO get picked by the Vikings early in the 2nd round

And every other fan of potential draft picks feels the same about their guys.

LJ will WILL have to do well at the combine if he wants to get into the second round. Right now, he's a good cover guy with average height. When NFL scouts are making up their draft board and they compare 2 guys with similiar cover skills, they'll take the taller one every time. If you look at a list of corner rankings for this seasons draft, their are a lot of guys around LJs ranking (aka skillset) with similiar size. If he shows well at the combine and proves to be a better athlete than that group, he'll move up. If he has a bad combine, he'll move down, potentially as low as the 4-5th round area.

At least for LJs draft stock all the scouts will need to look at for film is the Okie State game. Doing well against the best WR in college football can't hurt a guy's stock.

This. He may have only average measurables but he stacked up well against a great college receiver. Just look at what he did to Stanford...they didn't have anyone on their roster that could contain him.

Where do you think Blackmon gets drafted anyway? Would love to see the Bears pick him but think they'll need to do some major trading up.
