Are there any big boosters that will put pressure on Jamie during and after this horrible season?

Hey, in your initial post you mentioned you follow both ISU and Iowa, but not a huge fan of either....so please tell us...if you're not a fanatic...why have you spent dang near every single post since then bashing the situation ISU football is in? Do us all a favor and go away. We don't need people that don't even give a $$$$ about the program saying $$$$ at this point. Until then, welcome to my ignore list.

This post is for the folks who are rational. If you still think that it's not time for cpr to go, please don't read.

Why not fire cpr now and move Mangino to hc? Yes, I know Jamie gave him a dumb contract, but aren't there boosters out there who can help with the buy out?

It's obvious by the play today that the players are not on board. Fire him now and there maybe hope for at least one win this season. If Jamie keeps him on, it will be the worst season in all of modern cyclone football history.

Me think you CRACKERS.

I love Rhoads as a guy but he's not up to scratch as a coach.... But who on earth can we attract that would take the program to the next level and stay there?

We are one of the worst teams in the FBS on a consistent basis who rarely attract big out of state recruits.

I think the next head coach needs to be young with fresh ideas and a lot less traditional. Someone who can really set the recruiting trail on fire.

I just want to see a Cyclones team that is consistently competitive and no longer watch games expecting to lose.

I'm an emotional fan, my mood can swing wildly on gamedays but I always feel grounded when I can come in read threads like this to realize there are ISU "fans" who toss levelheadedness and rational thinking further out the window than I could ever dream.

This is the last thing that ISU needs or will even be able to find. ISU needs to focus on player development. The Bill Snyder method is all we need to look at. When he retired and Tom Prince took over at Kstate, they had great recruiting classes but it didn't translate to wins. When Snyder returned, the recruiting ratings dropped but the wins increased.

This. Whether it's CPR or someone else going forward, the main focus has to be on player development and finding guys who fit in with system, not guys with stars and offers. Lazard and Campos notwithstanding, ISU can't compete in terms of bringing in high profile recruits.

I just want to go back to CPR and so many others that say you 'CAN'T' recruit to AMES, IA or ISU. It is the most northern team in the B12. Well, I watched the game with NDSU and just about man for man they were a lot better than we were. Are you saying that North Dakota is warmer and easier to recruit to than Ames, IA????? I get tired of seeing all the 5' 9" defensive backs and DE recruited to be interior linemen. How many DL did we recruit last year or for that matter since CPR has been here. Why is it that CPR small successes were with the prior coaches recruits. What has he done with his own recruits. Then let us talk about ISU and why we can't recruit. So, our indoor football training facility is not any good???? So, our new dressing rooms and weight training facilities are not up to par. I looked at the game last week and NDSU was bigger, faster, played smarter and stronger. They had many new starters, new QB and new coaches????? What the hell gives!!!! Look at there roster, mostly from the midwest. So, I just tired of hearing that you can't win here. We build the SEZ and we will hear it some more. Always, something else???? You have to start with recruiting. You need to recruit all positions on the field. No need to recruit 20 -30 DB's and 20-30 receivers if you can't block or stop anybody up front. It was a good thing we had easy fall camps so we were rested....lol We were the ones that were cramping and laying all over the ground being all worn out from the hot day (a big what 78 degrees) What would have happened if it was one of those 90 degree fall days????? To quote CPR ' I don't care if you are black or white whether you are rich or poor I GOT THIS JOB AND I"M GOING TO BE RICH W HETHER WE WIN OR LOOSE"!!!!!!

Paragraphs, man. Paragraphs.
