With our offense so poor. It’s what every team with a bad offense does to hopefully get some easier points. Mix that with our ability to get turnovers on defense. It’s mind blowing why we don’t break off a turnover. I just don’t get it.

Because every time we try we mess it up, either by making a terrible pass or missing an easy layup. We have to be one of the worst fast break teams in the country.

We had has many field goals the last 9 seconds of the game was we did the last 8:46 of the game. Hope we can continue running 25 seconds off the clock before trying to do anything on offense. That offensive strategy worked great for Prohm.

I posted this exact thing on Twitter. It makes no sense and I believe it's the cause of our down turn lately. Early in the season we took opportunities to run. We aren't built to do it often, but we have to more. If you look at the game tonight we took control when we started pushing and forcing the issue in the second half. We collapsed at the end because we stopped pushing and allowed them to set up their defense and we couldn't but a bucket. I'm not saying we should always run, but we have to at times to create some offense besides our weave which is largely ineffective.

Thing is around the country lots of players are missing layups. Part of it is everybody practices shooting 3's and other thing guys get hit with a lot more contact near the hoop these days with no fouls.

When we had momentum, we did fast break a few times off our defense, but at least 1 defender got back to challenge, and smart passes were made out to wide open shooters for a '3'. They missed..... The better athleticism of OU and WV was noticeable. Makes me wonder how they both have 11 or 12 losses.

This team doesn't have the athletic ability to do it. They get chased down and their shots get blocked.

This offense sucks. It's pass around the perimeter (even that's a struggle) and take a forced shot with 2 seconds left on the shot clock. Seeing it from above tonight really made it clear.

When we were making the come back, we were running. I wish we had kept it up.

Yep take the break when we can get it and don't be afraid to send Holmes downhill from up top. Him Gabe and Lipsey can all do that pretty successfully. Though WV did end up with some big blocks off of some of our drives, we made enough it was worth going back to again. IMO.

I’d like to see it more as well, part of Grill and Gabe doing well was the secondary break early on in the season.

Because we always throw terrible lobs or just **** them up in general
I AGREE every team we play has better athletes than we do and if that doesn't change it will always be what it is right now....
I shudder to think that we could possibly not win another game this year!!
