Announcers should stop talking about "indisputable video evidence". The idea that it's required to overturn a call is really a myth.

He lost the ball because he pump faked it...thus a forward arm motion. While it was obvious he wasn't trying to pass, it was the correct call per the rulebook.

Uh, no, the rule is about where the ball goes. The ball rolled forward after going straight down. It was called a fumble. No way it should be overturned. His arm can go forward all day but if the ball doesn't go forward out of his hand, it's not a forward pass.

So every QB from now until the end of time should just take the snap and start fake pumping by habit until the ball is released.
...and even though his arm was going forward... who the hell was he throwing to??? He wasn't outside the box, where was the intentional grounding call?

Exactly. There is now selective interpretation as to what "irrefutable video evidence" means. It has come to mean "whatever the replay official thinks it means."

I'm not going to argue the G3 fumble because I don't know the rule for NCAA. But for the Woody TD to get reversed was laughable, and I'm being kind. Not only was there NOT irrefutable video evidence to reverse the call, the replay clearly showed that Woody scored. The ball was easily over the plain when his *** touched down. Un****ingbelievable.
