Our stadium (55,000) is bigger or roughly the same size as:

Colorado (53,750)
Kansas (50,071)
Kansas State (52,200)
Baylor (50,000)
Texas Tech (53,000)
OSU (60,000)

Guess no one will go to those schools because of their "high school stadiums."

We could always do like Nebraska and mark the seat widths for something that is appropriate for a class of kindergardeners. We could easily "squeeze" in another 15-20,000 bodies. Seriously, the Nebraska stadium has some of the worst seats and access aisles of any stadium in the country.

I disagree with this notion 100% - I think if we should hire Gill it's because he's the best coach that's available to us.

Look at Tyrone Willingham - every little "EEO experiment" that's been performed with him (particularly Notre Dame and Washington) has ended in disaster.

I want Gill only if he's the best coach available - not because he's black.

I didn't mean Pollard HAS to hire a black coach. I just mean at this point and time it makes sense (since a black coach happens to be a top candidate). ISU really shouldn't pass up the chance at increading its diversity among its coaches....

I just think it would be a great hire. I believe it would help recruiting, get our current players to stay, and have a person of high faith and a proven track record leading our football team every Saturday.
