Isn't this just what Burton did his Jr year and many other do that end up coming back?
Yes, I’m not particularly worried, but if any of these guys get really good feedback they could be gone. Part of what we will be dealing with now that Prohm is bringing in a lot of highly-rated recruits.
It would be dumb for him not to declare. It will give him valuable feedback on the things he needs to improve the most on.
If he goes, he goes. If he stays, he stays. It’s what happens when you pull in highly rated recruits. There’s no reason for him not to test the waters and get valuable feedback.
IMO, he’s definitely staying. He’s a great player with great athleticism but doesn’t have the handles and vision to play point at that level and doesn’t have the size or shot consistency, especially driving to the bucket, to play the two. He needs to develop his traditional PG skills another year or two and he’ll be a guaranteed first rounder.

Good for him. Free workouts against the best and coaching from the best, and he will know more what he needs to do next season from an outside voice.
If he gets a sure First Round grade, I would not blame him whatsoever for declaring for the draft and hiring an agent, but I do not think that would happen this year.

Yeah, good idea. Nothing to lose, and should be a good experience for him.
If I was the coach I would encourage all my players to do this, that way they can get outside unbiased opinions on what they need to work on.
I found a couple mocks through Google but nothing with profiles or ratings like draftexpress. I liked that website.
He's skilled and athletic enough to go out there, surprise everyone, get great feedback and stay in the draft.

He is #28 in the first round next year. I would think that you come back as a junior if you are risking falling into the second round like that.
