Doesnt deserve to be playing the minutes he’s playing right now. Hasn’t been good at all since returning.
And neither does THT.. he hit some threes but his drives negate them it’s like a turn over... yet Zoran tally and Terrance Lewis ride the bench both with big 12 experience.. I would much rather see Zoran’s little floater that was effective last year then the home run circus shots that THT is attempting

Way up there
He was the only guy who was getting anywhere off the dribble today. I thought he actually made some nice passes that set guys up but they couldnt knock them down, had a couple nice looks that did end up in points. From a PG standpoint, one of the better games he played but he struggled to score. He wasn't to blame for today.

Talley was completely lost out there today

I think he has a bit of an ego and was a bit selfish. Had every opportunity to pass to Babb to hit the free throws at the end. Also put his head down knowing he was going to take the last shot no matter how bad it was going to be. Wanted to be the hero at the end rather than playing within himself.

Probably could have used some time playing through mistakes with the same leeway of others. If you’re going to use them when you need them to play well, it’s best to play them when you don’t need them.

Wigginton said he came back to prove he is a winner. My guess is the NBA had there doubts. He is an athletic freak, but he has to play better. For a quick, physical guy, his defense sure does lack. I don’t remember it being this bad last year.

He’s not the best player right now- he’s the best athlete. He may be the best at hitting tough shots, but they’re still tough shots.

Utilize him more? He had the highest usage rate going into today’s game at 30.4%. That’s very high, particularly for a guy that’s never been efficient. Guys like Georges and Kane didn’t have that, and they were better at setting up teammates.

You’re referencing last year as though he played at a high level. He was a volume guy last year, and one of the biggest reasons we were bad. Teams are generally as good as their high usage guys, and ours were chuckers with low PERs
I suppose we just view it differently. I see a team that played well against a weak non-con and I think some things are being exposed. ISU does not currently have a low post presence. MJ isn't having a huge impact, Lard is hurt, Young is more of a rebounder/defender than scorer. I think THT is showing that he has a lot of growing to do. I think LW will be the stabilizing force.

Agreed, THT has been atrocious in Big 12 games except for hitting a couple 3's here and there.

MJ is Charmin soft inside. I'll admit I didn't know much about him at Nebraksa but I thought we were getting a Dustin Hogue type forward, not a guard in a 6'9 body.

*******. THT only played 19. Lindell played 28. 25 of which he played horribly.

I didn’t see tally play today.. and prohm has hitched his ride to the bad lineups he plays already you can’t blame guys for not shining every time they get in for a minute of playing time

We’ll watch the game. He played.

I’m just gonna say this.

If I’m cooking a pizza and it has to be out of the oven exactly at the 40 minute mark, I know I can rely on Wiggington and Babb to get that pizza out any time between the 1 and 39 minute mark. But when I need it out at the 40 minute mark, both of them are nowhere to be found.

Why are you an Iowa State fan? You birch when we win. You are happy when we lose. It obviously brings you zero joy.

Lol, yep I'm happy we lost to a bubble team in Hilton where we should lose once every 2 or 3 years. I'm also happy we have a MAC level coach who can recruit but can't scheme himself out of a wet paper bag.
