I miss FR Wigginton and Lard as much as the next guy but what I’m saying is you wouldn’t be seeing the hero ball comments and fans openly saying they wish he didn’t return to Iowa State if we win yesterday and were 13-3 and 3-1 in the Big 12.

I do hope he returns, or earns the right to go pro. He is a good player and his struggles are normal. Again, just like Naz.

I mean return after last season. I’ve seen comments saying they wish he left after his FR season. Implying we’d be better without him.

Well, I do still have high hopes for him. I feel he does need more time and maybe less minutes just for now.

He could just be a guy that is better off as a starter. Might be time to slide him in the starting lineup over THT to see how that goes.

Smh at people this season advocating for fewer minutes for Lard and Lindell. Struggling or not (after absences), I’ll go with putting the best players on the floor as much as possible, which those two certainly are.

Right now Wigginton and Lard look like bench players. Best players play.
So you’re going with NWB, Haliburton, Shayok, THT sand Jacobson with the game on the line?

That’s not very much scoring at the current moment.

Jacobson is struggling, THT is struggling, Haliburton is basically only a spot up shooter right now, NWB is extremely unclutch. Shayok is the one guy in there to get you buckets.

I'm fine with Wigginton being in the game when it's clutch; If he earns the right. He has not looked good this year. Blame it on what you want, but he doesn't deserve to start with this season's current state.

If I had my way it would be Haliburton, Shayok, THT, Jacobsen, and Lard. This of course predicates Lard playing well without fouling out in 5 minutes. That right now I think is our strongest line up.

The only guy who has earned his starting spot right now is Shayok. You can make an argument for Jacobson just due to our other bigs struggling.

Wigginton needs to start. Frankly I don’t think it sends a good message that you lose the starting job bc of injury.
