FYI... ISU's record right now is 12-8, and Iowa's is 8-13.

But obviously Iowa is getting better every week, while we are not. And they play in a weaker conference IMO.

Even if Iowa gets red hot, I don't see them winning more than 4 more games and I expect ISU to win at least that many more.

As a Cubs fan myself, I feel your pain. At least your Vikings have made the playoffs recently unlike the Redskins.

I am resigned to the fact that while McD is coaching in Ames, ISU will not win more than 6 games in the Big 12 no matter the talent. HIs style is not meant to go against the big boys night in and night out. A one and done scenario maybe, but not in a conference season.

I noticed that you started two threads today, both of which are negative for ISU and positive for Iowa. I you really a clone fan or just a Iowa troll.

Exactly. It is like a sniper with a dialed in bolt action rifle. When hiding in the bushes(MVC) he could pick off some of the big boys(major conference teams)...then run back to the bushes. But when he has to bring that same bolt action rifle to the front line(Big 12) where everyone is using semi or fully auto weapons week in and week out.....most of the time is spent ducking and covering and trying to figure out when the next opprotunity will come......if ever.

As for the topic of this thread.......the fact that it can even be spoken with some merit says more than if it will actually happen. The fact that we already have four wins on them means that they will have to do that just to break even. And even though they are playing better....that is a long shot. But saying that should be a cold consolation to ISU fans. Because we can no more look at our schedule and say "hey...there is a couple more wins there" any more than they can see four! Pathetic!
