I think ISU can win their next 4 games. However, I also know they can screw the pooch at a moment’s notice. Therefore, I would like to take a poll on the next 4 games.

I think every game left is a toss up except for Texas, and even with Texas you never know what 11/18 will bring (weather or otherwise) in Ames at Jack Trice

Absolutely. If they can go 1-1 in each of the final 3, 2- game stretches, they go bowling. And I think doable, though I won't go as far as to predict it.

1-1 @Cincinnati, @Baylor
1-1 KU, @BYU
1-1 Texas, @KSt.
I would take this 1-1 scenario in a heartbeat. Especially if the last 1-1 was a big fat horns down win against ouT!!!

I agree, though I think we need to remember how young we are on defense as well...

I'm probably still drunk but I think there's a reasonable chance we win all 4. That said, I'm not THAT drunk anymore so I'll say we go 2-2 but the ground game coming alive some, the defense not being elite but getting some timely stops and turnovers - and ST not being a dumpster fire -

that puts you in position to go bowling. And amazingly, if we go 4-0... I mean. That'd be incredible.
I'll take 4-0 next 4, then 1-1 final 2, with the W at home against Texass! Yeah, that'd work.

Feels like the timing of this thread coincidentally hit at a key turning point for this team. They won the next 3 of 3, and game 4 is a homecoming night game on ESPN with KU coming to town.

October has really been something in the Campbell era.

The next 4 are pretty equal. At home against KU is the toughest on that stretch.
Disagree there.

Texas, especially if Ewers is back, is awfully tough. They are physically different. They abused this Kansas team we're about to face.

K-State has hit high gear. And we never play well there.

Kansas is #3. Its home and a game that we match up the best talent wise to.

I hope I'm wrong but the trip to BYU might be crucial for bowling. I think we have a reasonable shot against Kansas, but after that?

Texas and then K-State where... when was the last time we played well in Manhattan? They are NOT stone cold losses, but at the same time... they are A level difficulty, IMO. Kansas is a solid B.

If you gave me 2-2 versus that group, I would be over the moon.
I'd be slightly disappointed but content with 1-3.
If we somehow got to 3-1... I can't even describe the level of giddiness.

You are responding to a post from Oct 8th. The next 4 then was, Cinci, Baylor, KU, BYU.

Maybe we should stop having our bye week in Oct to maximize our Oct games.

Seems we play our best, mid season, and most often in Oct. Starting slow and falling off in Nov.

Start slow, I agree with. But I think we can be just as dangerous in November, usually just at the mercy of health and injuries. Weather is on our side for home games.

I posted that 21 days ago when Cincinnati, Baylor, KU and BYU were our next 4 games...

"I think... ...Therefore, I would like..."

This perfectly encapsulates people who should get off my lawn.

Big time.

Ready to play, great in-game adjustments, players motivated.

Only critique is timeout preservation.
Dumbest thing ever, guess what you don't get bonus points for keeping 3 timeouts. The Scott Drew way works just fine. This staff often gets something out of those timeouts resulting in more points. I'm absolutely fine with how they manage them.

Sadly, Rocctober is over, hopefully November is as good.

Agree. We’ll know more after the K St/Texas game, the Kats will be tested. The KU/K St game will be raucous, if Daniels gets healthy it will be another test for K St. I hope for the best but one out of four may be reality. If we win both home games & BYU….

I know this was for another "next four" games, but the current next four...not an easy task. I am hopeful we can scratch out one win. Home vs KU might be our best shot. It seems that BYU at Provo is a completely different cat (cougar if you will) than they are on the road. Texas and KSU seem to be playing the best ball out of anyone in the conference.
