Agree with Blum, one of the biggest games for the program in the last 8 years.
I definitely think that them having a layoff of 20 days+ directly benefits US. We are coming off a bye week, they're coming off like 3 byes. Also their last opponent was Kansas, not exactly a defensive/offensive power right now.
Their D has statistically been great thus far, but they have played a gang of nobodies (yes I'm including WVA in that category, they stunk up the joint aganist KU last week for most the game).
A big matchup here is Anthony Johnson versus Tylan Wallace - he torched us last year and we need to be sure tackling him. Maybe we bracket a safety on him as well. I also think we absolutely gotta get the ground game going to set up the pass, need to do the ole ball control style on them to keep their offense cool. A wildcard here is Chubba, he can take any run to the house as we saw last year.
Charlie K, now would be a great time for a breakout 100 yds plus vintage performance too!

Lots of eyeballs in this game for sure.
Win and we, barring total meltdown, at almost a lock for title game.
Here is how I think....which I don't always love....can we beat a top team twice? (Meaning, regular season and I'm champ game?) I almost got sick thinking "what if that team is k state?"
We've still not played our best game and hope we do.this weekend...no dumb freebie plays or mistakes....lets ridr the Breece train with heavy doses of TEs and a big Hutch play...oh, and Kene too.
And a pick six.
