Sure has changed. Everybody has their own patch of grass and nobody gets in a snit if you take "Jim's spot" -- because now Jim's spot is actually reserved.

We had a community of folks that always parked together. It was VERY RARE that what you described happened. When it did we welcomed them to the community. The old system also made it easy for people arriving in cars to walk over and join us. Not so much any more.
