I love these designs. Up in Special Collections of the Parks Library is an early 1900 letter sweater with a felt A for Ames. Worth the trip to see it and some of their other vintage clothing. I think they now have band uniforms for the past 50 years as well. I'm excited to enter, may need to buy anyway. Just hate to spend $35 on a shirt I can't try on.

I have a stadium blanket that is wool from the 1920's. it is one of my wife's. most prized cyclone memorabilia, as it was left to her by her past grandfather, it originally belonged to his father. Before we got it we didn't even know our bloodline ran that deep to ISU!

This is a really good point. It isn't just a blanket. It is an heirloom-in-waiting. I could see this in someone's house as a great conversation starter, especially if you are a big Cyclone fan living in another part of the country. The blanket begs for stories of Jack Trice to be told. And the blanket is being distributed by the person who is doing the best research on Jack Trice. None of us knew his number until Kagavi came along.

I "met" Joshua on CF and finally in person last week at our tailgate. He and his wife are a really nice couple. And he has done some much in a short time to support Iowa State. I hope you have great success with your ISU merchandise.
