Not at 5a this morning. o_O

We rail when the forecasters are wrong...can they be wrong now?
Seemed alright at 9:30 this morning. Snow is melting nicely, just in time for Tuesday nights 8 more inches of snow.

Just saw that if that works out, Des Moines will break it's record for most snow in a 40 day period (I think it was 1912, 43.5"). I think we're sitting around 39.5"?

NWS revised that tweet

With 6-8" forecast, if it hits just above the middle of that range it'll hit the record.

That's really what makes this awful. We've had winters with more overall snow, but it hasnt come over such a short period. Doesnt feel like it has been quite as cold for those winters either.

With the impending doom this Tues and there has been at least 3 other bball games this season affected by storms, Mother nature is not a Cyclone fan which is ironic given our name. Also take in the SDSU football game Mother nature is bending us over. I'd give her the double bird but I'm afraid she can do much worse.

I blame jamie pollard for scheduling all these night games, and games during the winter.

The weather for most of the 7 home football games was not good. A lot were very cold, very rainy, or both. Then basketball hasn't gotten much better.

Going to need a storm thread for Tues/Wed and Friday/Saturday it appears.

Football was garbage weather. Oklahoma was a top 2 hottest game. Baylor was freezing. Drake was awful.

CR is going to be at least 6 or 7" once it's done. I cleared around 4 or 5 inches first thing this morning and it's coming down hard right now.

I stand corrected, I just finished the driveway for the third time today and we are a little over 8" inches and it's STILL coming down. 3-5 inches my ass.
