He has better handles there than Cujo who I think really needs to play the SG with combo to PG
CuJo can play point on a team that has a point post like the nuggets, and a third of the league have.
I watched most of the last Washington game. Didn't get to really see Gilbert's ability to be a lock down defender as they played zone most of the time.
The Smart buyout really has no impact. Washington doesn't, and never was going to, have real room for him. They had to release/buyout three guys (Smart, Richaun Holmes, and Blake Wesley) who are experienced NBA guys just to get down to the 15 man roster limit and already have signed guys to all three of their two-way spots.
He might have been thinking it was one of his better options to show something during summer league however. Keshon doesn't look like a guy who teams will think is worth a two-way right now. He definitely could get on a g-league squad though and see if he can play his way to that level. That or go the Europe route.
