^True. Good news is Lynx have a good coach and seem mostly to have had good team culture and chemistry as one of their foundations over the years. The only outlier to me was when they signed Odyssey Sims a couple of times. I just could never reconcile how he fit in to Reeves culture and system.

Good first game back today for Collier, 22 points and 10 boards in win at Seattle. Seems odd to see Seattle at 6-23.
She has such a smooth game. Makes it look effortless but gets fired up when she needs to.

Tough loss played them down to the last seconds. The Wings were shooting lights out but the Fire stayed with them to the end. BC played 31 min. (tied for most on the team) 18 pts 5 rb 2 ast she had a late steal but no credit and was guarding Paige B most of the game.

Clark picked up another technical last night. She'll get a 1 game suspension if she gets another. Was just a dumb T for her to get too. Wasn't much more than a typical reach in foul either when the game was already in the bag for the Fever so don't know why she decided to start yapping. Looked like Cunningham was trying to get Clark away from the situation too but didn't matter she already said something at that point.

Fever's Clark earns 7th technical foul; one away from 1-game ban - ESPN

This is what makes it really hard for me to like Clark. I will admit she's been the target of some hard fouls, but it is petty crap like this where she starts talking smack for no good reason. Pick your battles, don't throw a fit over every play or call you don't like. She was the one that was fouled and it was not enough a hard foul at that so just let it go and play ball there was no need to talk smack there given the score.

It’s unfortunate a talent like that comes with her baggage. I don’t know if I can support her even if she was a Cyclone. Just trashy behavior. Combine that with the boyfriend… woof.

Her behavior fits right in with the family she may possibly one day marry into. Would love to be a fly on the wall at that dinner table during a family gathering to hear them all piss and moan about something. I said it when she was at Iowa, her court tempermant detracts from a lot of the positives she brings to the game. Just let your play do the talking, don't need to run your mouth or complain to the refs every time you don't like something. I sometimes wonder if that is why she gets the treatment she does by other WNBA players because she has a reputation with the refs so they might be trying to bait her into it too. I don't agree with some of the cheap shots and hard fouls she sometimes is on the receiving end of but if she wouldn't put on such a show every time something doesn't go her way then maybe the refs would protect her more from the rough play.

Did you watch the play? She got fouled, started walking away. Saniya Rivers waved CC off, CC waved Rivers off, Rivers then started yapping at CC saying she had her locked down, and CC responded by saying "scoreboard." It was a double technical, and it was really stupid for either of them to get one. It was also stupid of Rivers to say she had CC locked down given the fact that at the time it happened Indiana was up by 28, and CC had 27 points and 11 assists. Would have been best for CC to just walk away and leave it alone, but she wasn't the one who instigated the yapping.

My guess is if you looked hard enough, you would find videos of her doing this during travel ball. By the time she was at Dowling, she definitely had pouting problems. I don’t call them anger issues. She pouts.

Several Iowa fans I know to this day don't care for Clark because they saw her play in high school

I really get tired of hearing about Caitlin Clark and the political firestorm it has created. I do not listen/follow Keith Murphy and Andy Fales to this day because of some of the comments they made about Clark (comparing her to Jackie Robinson).

Clark is incredibly talented.....Clark is so likeable during her interviews....but her behavior on the court has been a problem since she was at Dowling......and I credit Lisa Bluder for everything she did while Clark was at Iowa because it was much more under control in Iowa City than at Dowling or Indianapolis. And I know people on the Iowa WBB staff and it wasn't an easy road to help her with her emotions in Iowa City either.

But this media storm around Clark isn't good for her or her brand....and the loud twitter storm around her isn't helpful either (and neither is the commentary from Murphy and Fales. If I were Caitlin I would want her twitter warriors to stop and if I were Caitlin's parents I would have a firm meeting with her and a brand manager and put a plan in place.
