Speaking of WNBA, Cyclone Stephanie Soares played her first game, albeit just exhibition, tonight for Dallas. A rather inauspicious first outing, 4 minutes with no pts or rb.
Note we do have a Cyclones in the pros thread for WBB. Right now it's just Carleton and Soares.

Angel Reese said she wanted to get "knocked down" at the next level, and she got her wish.
Crazy that 2 teams vegas and Atlanta have only played 4 games while Indiana has played 8 and a few others have played 7.
Just came to post this. They have an interesting center from China and this will probably speed up her development.

I get it, the WNBA doesn't pay great but it's a little arrogant coming from someone that was making more NIL money in college than most player in the WNBA were making even off the court. She even says "I'm living beyond my means!" when there are hard working people out there paying to see her games that are struggling to pay their own bills with a lot less income.

Yikes, Indiana Fever putting in work. First Natasha Howard and now DeWanna Bonner, to go with CC, Mitchell, and Boston.
Tomorrow's All-Star Draft should be pretty interesting. Clark and Collier the two team captains, will draft their rosters from the list of established starters, then the list of reserves. Here's who they'll pick from:

I have no idea who gets the first pick. I'd assume A'ja and Breanna go 1,2. Unless CC stays loyal and takes Boston. But doing that would put Napheesa, A'ja, and Breanna on the same team. There's no way that team loses. Should be fun.

I know there are two sides to every story, but this makes several players sound absolutely insane. I think it's entirely possible the boom in media attention is happening too fast for some to adjust.
If this is even 10% true-ish flavored I'd expect Fever to get a serious boost by leaving the Bonner experiment in the past.

Sounds like CC promised she'd be taking both Boston and Kelsey. So if Collier goes first and picks A'ja, I'd see CC taking Breanna first then Boston second. My predictions for the starting 5s:
