And then ISU eventually took a 21 pt lead, so I wouldn't read into it too much (although it did give a weird feeling)It killed the atmosphere completely in all seriousness.
Band does not choose when to play, they are told when to play. See: headset being worn by director.
The national anthem was incredible. And that's coming from a college kid that doesn't really care about all that stuffIMO, the best half time act is always the ISU drum line type group that does the woop woop faster song.
I do give ISU props for having the men's choir do the National Anthem, that was great.

Yeah, I realize that...but seriously?? Were you there? It was really stupid timing.
I was there. I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying you should blame the athletic department(?), not the band/director.
Also, how about that win over a top-20 team?![]()

I think Quick Change got their start on AGT also, didn't they?

Men's Chorus at half would have been much better for everyone. The AD could have cut a check to them for half of what they paid those guys and it would have been a win for everybody.
Last night was the first time I can remember being angry with the band. Most of the time I laugh or ignore them. But at the last time out, we had a really strong "Cyclone" "Power" chant going, and it was still building...and the band director decided to play Cyclone Aerobics right in the middle. Totally killed the moment, and not very many joined in with the band. He should have just left it alone and let the chant build.

Who gets more unnecessary flak on this board, Matt Thomas or the pep band?
So how'd that fill-in spot directing the pep band go for you Monday?
they performed at ISU before they were on AGT
Oh man, that would be awesome. Sadly, I was watching from my nosebleeds.
AD meaning athletic department, not Pollard. I'm not sure, but I think that timing is all scripted before the game starts, which may be biggest problem. Somebody on this board has to know.
