I am kind of wondering what happened as we were ahead when husband and I got a call to take neighbor 25 miles to a hospital with labor and delivery. She’s way early and her husband is out of state for work.

Box score looks like only Jefferson and Lipsey could shoot

Yes. This team will be a sweet sixteen exit at best once again. Probably a 2 or 3 seed again. I’m fine with it but I won’t watch. At some point I need to have a realistic hope we can achieve a milestone like that. I’ll keep contributing to the athletics program and NIL but I have many better things to do on a Tuesday night

So thank you for contributing to ISU athletics and NIL....genuinely. But it's odd to also read you "won't watch" a 2 or 3 seed team that in your words will be a sweet sixteen team. Better things to do? Again, do you realize how obscure those opportunities are?

We were red-hot shooting for the first 4:00 or so, up 13-4.

0 depth. Milan injury ending the season. Missing on high school recruiting (literally just Tamin Lipsey is his one hit and Milan is the only good outside shooter he’s ever recruited). Pretty bad offensively every year. TJ isn’t some god coach that can’t be replaced. It’s not heretic to criticize him

I mean this loss waves goodbye a big 12 championship AND a 1 seed. There’s nothing left to accomplish except a final four and if you truly think this team can accomplish that then I would love to consume whatever substance you’re on
This is a much more reasonable post. I think you need a little bit of the substance and then things won't seem so bad...lol

oh idk

“This team hasn’t beaten anyone”

“This team is worse than last year”

“Lost to a bunch of borderline D2 squads”

That’s 3 unintelligent things right there! Unless you can’t count them.
Who have we beat? Marquette and Kansas. Two mid teams. And we got lucky those nights that those teams couldn’t shoot.

KSU is a lot better than their record indicates the are, they have done a nice job of righting the ship after a horrible start to their season. Like Arizona they are long and give teams a battle on the glass. Tang may be jerk, but the guy can coach. Get the feeling his team is going to do some damage down the road.

Heard the same thing about WVU. They haven't won since.

Odds are that KSU still sucks.

I'm with you, I'm not going to watch them Tuesday night either.

They aren’t that obscure in my lifetime honestly. Since Hoiberg we’re in the tournament most years with a team around sweet sixteen as the ceiling.

This was a perfect storm of two teams trending in different directions, some bad luck for us, and some good luck for them. Completely unexpected so I think that’s why so many, including myself, are in shock. Worst loss ever? Probably not. Really bad loss. Most definitely, but it’s one regular season loss in early February. We will most likely get things back on track heading into tourney time even if that’s not what some people want to hear right now.

You should probably just step away and stop posting. Everyone here thinks you are either a troll or an extreme self-loathing fan. Doesn't really matter which since at this point your are just spamming the forum with idiotic postings, nine in this thread you created as your soap box.

That, or someone that started following the Cyclones post Prohm era. Absolutely insane to infer that this is the lowest point in program history.
