Just thinking that 3 ball is out of control in NCAAM and NBA. What if they increased the basketball diameter by 0.5”? That would make outside shots more difficult. Seems like there is not much room to move the 3 point line back anymore. They are losing fans in NBA now. Leave the WNBA and NCAAW with the current sized ball.

I couldn't believe how hot they were. BYU did just kind of let them shoot. Tried to play the law of averages and it just wasn't in the cards. For a guy who thoroughly outcoached TJ twice this season, I couldn't believe what Kevin young was doing.

Meh. It was a 35 year old record they broke. I don't think they need to make any rash changes because of it
BYU now feels the pain of the other team making 50% of their threes. It hurts. At that volume, I'd argue it's impossible to win.

I think it’s the trend the game is moving to that is the issue. The NBA is becoming unwatchable as it is just a three point contest.
That style of play is making its way into the college basketball. And it has the potential to lose viewership like it has for the NBA
That’s the general concern. Do any rules need to be changed in the immediate future? No. But it is something worth monitoring
I think the game is better now than when it was just a bunch of behemoths banging around in the post.
It was like shooting fish in a barrel for Alabama. BYU just does not want to play defense. Bama playing fast and nailing 3s sped BYU up offensively and they are not savvy enough to realize that a quick 3, when you are down a dozen and the other team is in the middle of a 10-0 run, is probably not a good thing. Evidence proves it to the tune of 113-88.
