Our boosters need to step up here. We should have NIL deals in place for every recruit.
Well the impression I get is from others that we’re either the only Power 5 school in the country who has no NIL resources to speak of, or for some reason we don’t believe in trying to take advantage of NIL because “it’s not wholesome”

I think Pollard and Campbell have spoke negatively of the NiL “me before we” perspective in interviews, and the negative trends toward that but I may be remembering incorrectly.

Yeah I realized that after posting this. Also Noble Thomas’s decision definitely couldn’t have been that either considering where he went.

It is frustrating though. We finally hit a strong class and go figure several of the best guys realize they’re too good for us.

We won’t get much better than 7-5/8-4 until this changes. And for that I guess we really can’t complain. We just won’t be as talented.
Hard to keep a fringe top-25 class together when there are rampant rumors about your coach. Largely unanswered.

Disagree about it won't get much better. First, , a couple games better is much better. Second, we had a better season last year. We choked away better seasons this year and others. In 2017, with basically a roster of late Rhoads recruiting they won 8 games, and should have won more.

To take the next step, we foremost need to keep improving the OL and ST. OL is the position in which rankings mean the least.

First line is spot on. All he had to do was shut down the rumors. Heck the coaching carousel is pretty much over and still haven't heard a peep.

Historically, we have the worst booster support in the conference
You’d hope that could potentially change with this program finally tasting success the last five years.

The program gave no incentive for boosters to put in heavy money before this.

Right, and when you're in the top-25, some of these guys have good options coming off seasons better than 7-5. Recruiting is brutal. These kids have well respected coaches likely providing doubt that CMC will be here. If he could offer more than coaches speak to these recruits, he should have in public too. But I am guessing he hasn't, which is why we've seen some kids decomitt soon after visits.

Imo P5 coaches need to know how and when to lie imo. And if he doesn't need to lie, then it is even worse they did not get out in front of it.

Just get as many signed as possible and get a win over a big name like Clemson to restore some momentum.

That’s why we really need an organized effort to funnel money to these kids. We should be the most aggressive school in the conference on this, there should be multiple full time employees dedicated to nothing but funding and setting up NIL deals. Whoever capitalizes on this first is going to have a huge advantage over other schools.

This times 1000. All we get out of Campbell is useless statements that lead to nothing but more questions.

Well the AD is limited in what they officially can do. But you sure as **** better believe this **** is not happening organically elsewhere. JP's soap box needs to be kicked to the curb.
