you shaking a stick at those pesky gambling apps? They're the work of the devil.

Nothing better than being in Vegas and down a few bucks.

Drunkenly betting the ladies games is a right of passage.

Right up there with knowing everything about Hawaii football for those last minute comeback attempts

On the Bird/Taurasi feed ESPN had going, Geno said exactly that. He was basically asked, “Have you seen a player anything like Clark.” And he said, “Yeah, her name was Diana Taurasi.” People forget (naturally) how good certain players were years ago. Certain players are immune to it like Michael Jordan or Barry Sanders, but most of the time it’s prisoner of the moment.

That being said Clark is right up there, as what she is able to do shooting the basketball is very Steph Curry-esque and cannot be denied.

I've grown to not dislike Geno as much as I have it the past. I went back to watch his appearance on their show. I really enjoy his takes on the game. It's very cerebral.

It is simultaneously true that CC is one of the best women’s BB players in a long time, if not ever, AND that hawk fans are trying to claim LSU players are classless as a way of deflecting from their being sad about losing the game.

It wasn’t that close of a game, so it’s a little bit harder to complain about the skill or ability of the players.. instead, it’s easier to complain and take a moral “high ground.” The high ground is also at least somewhat racially motivated, even if it’s unintentional for most fans.

If CC does it, it’s okay. If the Angel Reese does it, it’s a distraction and classless. It’s not that hard to see why…

BUT none of the outrage is the fault of CC. She’s a generational talent, and I really wish she was playing at ISU. She’s not, and that is going to be tough to compete with over the next few years.

Also, I’m not a huge fan of Mulkey. Her history with Baylor and treatment of players doesn’t sit well with me. I am glad that the rival team lost to LSU, but still not like LSU’s coach.

I saw comments today from Reese that said her actions were for, "girls who look like me". I don't follow Caitlin Clark real close, but has she made racial attacks or attacked black athletes before? I get taunting and trash talk, but using this as an opportunity to be a racial beacon? Yeah, I'm not sure.

It's probably because almost nobody calls CC a "thug" for the exact same behavior and credit to that ESPN clip for at least hinting about that a bit.

Truth is probably somewhere in the middle. There's surely a little truth there but it's not some massive injustice compared to other things going on in the world.

I think the last 7-8 years have been pretty humbling for him. When they were the odds on favorite very year he was a lot to take.

Geno is sick of the excessive physicality in the game and the pathetic officiating.

Nope just an observation. I use the gambling apps. It was just one man's opinion for the sudden uptick in interest around WCB over what it has been in the past.

Who cares? I don't know how anyone could resist giving her a dose of her own medicine in that situation. She' talks more **** than any women's player in history.
I thought she might tone it down with a national spotlight, but nope. Perhaps she knows America loves arrogance and disrespect and is just looking for more $$$. Perhaps she has that little respect for players on other teams and she wants to make sure they know it.

Reese effectively brought attention to her behavior while also bringing into the discussion the reason that perhaps Clark gets so much more positive press and fandom than the likes of other great players through the years like Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, Dawn Staley, Britney Griner, Skylar Diggins, Tamika Catchings, Cheryl Miller, Maya Moore, Aliyah Boston, Jonquel Jones, A’ja Wilson, etc.

Dropping logo bombs and 40 point triple doubles is fun and exciting, shocking.
