Listening to this.

I don't really know what to think. Its different. This dude is pretentious as hell.

Exactly my thoughts. His lyrics have always been a tad pretentious, but this takes it to whole new level. There is something mentally wrong with this guy. Maybe you should stuck to making beats...well **** even those now are odd.

I really like it. Blood on the Leaves is the best song of the year.

I youtube'd it.................that song is T-U-R-B-L. I even forced myself to listen to the whole song to see if maybe it might get just a little better. Nope, no such luck.

I kinda like a few of the songs, mostly for the beat. Not really one to really take lyrics to heart.

The thing is, Maclemore is alright, 15 years ago he would just been another dude. That's how far rap has fell off.

I just listened to Yeezus to see what the fuss was all about. Somehow, miraculously, I made it through the entire thing. I have but one question...

Is this honestly what passes for music these days???

That was just pure stream-of-consciousness drivel. What is the artistic merit in that? What is musical about a bunch of random noises and sounds being played over and over again? This is noise music, at best, with some egotistical, misogynistic rambling over the top of it.

So it'll probably win like 15 Grammys and sell a few million copies. SMH.

Not so boldly charted, it's really just a question of your honesty.

My thoughts. Except I didn't make it through. Just pretentious horse-**** noise. Pure crap, straight from the studio of a megalomaniac with no filter and no one around him with enough balls to tell him he sucks. His first two albums weren't bad as far as rap goes, but he's just a sociopath with enough money to make fancy albums now.

If you're going to be incredibly misogynistic, at least be as awesome about it as Mick Jagger was.

No no no...it won't. Remember what he did to Taylor "It isn't me" Swift??? No chance he ever wins a Grammy again.
