I hope he is very competitive. I wasn't sure because he seems to show no emotion towards refs or players during the games. Also, we didn't finish our games very strongly, which might be attributed to preparation, attitude, or communication.
This is true....I'm sure there will be a few offseason film sessions with Flip or Larry.Don't confuse his calm demeanor on the sidelines to not being competitive. I know him personally and he is definitely driven to win.
I would compare him in that regard to Kirk Ferentz, who I've met and know some of the players he's coached at Iowa. Again, he has a calm demeanor relative to most college football coaches, but he is extremely competitive.
Also, Fred will have an entire off season to recruit and analyze this past season. This will be his first true off season where he can look back at his decisions and strategies, and make adjustments and grow as a coach.
I came to the wrong forum, Thought It was Cyclone Fanatic, turns out it's Grammar 416.
Wait -- that's how you fixed it?
How about Fred is really competitive.
I think it's more like a level 100 or 200 grammer course. If it was 416, they would be extremely critical.I came to the wrong forum, Thought It was Cyclone Fanatic, turns out its Grammer 416.
