It is definitely off season.

Here we have a Northwestern fan talking smack to an Iowa fan and throwing Drake under the bus in thread about Zach Johnson on an Iowa State message board and at the same time talking about NW season ticket sales.

Football season can't come fast enough.

He isn't a NW fan. It's an Iowa fan trolling for other Iowa fans on an ISU board. Even more awesome.

I really like Zach. I've talked with Damon Green, Zach's normal caddy, a bit at the PCC and he is a great guy. Zach and him are close. I don't like that he's a Hawk fan, but he's not an alum, so it doesn't bother me as much as it does others on here.

That was a great question about a guy worshiping Satan or a Pagan god. I know I wouldn't like it, but would understand that it's his choice. Zach does say a prayer between shots, he has said that is what keeps him so calm. At least I read that back when he won the Masters.

He can appear to be a bit arrogant at times, but I'm not sure it's what he means or if he does mean it to help him feel comfortable in his surroundings. Can you imagine the amount of self-confidence it takes to do what he does? And I'm sure being the second guy on his HS and College teams, not to mention being from little ol' Iowa, has something to do with feeling like he always has to prove himself as belonging.

w is only removed from Io_a - I will put it back when they earn it back on the field and on the basketball court.

By the way, did you hear that our season ticket sales have skyrocketed this year?

Could they have gone down? Congrats on being a tall midget.

Is this the same Northwestern basketball team that has never made the big dance? Why the hell would ticket sales increase to see a team that can't ever make the big dance. I guess we should start dropping the 'w' from Northwestern.

those that say hebis arrogant need to go to a golf tournament. they are all that way and need to be to stay focussed. they have hundreds if not thousands of people standing feet away yelling at them. when you go to a tournament you get a really good feeling for how mental the game is and how much they shut off everything else.

I've followed him for years at the JD classic in person. You can tell he knows everyone is watching him and gets a bit over dramatic. There's a fine line between being a proud player and being a cocky one. They can't all be like Boo Weekley.

as do i and i dont see him come across as arrogant and over dramatic

golf is a mental sport and most people act like that on the course despite not even being a pro playing in front of thousands like zach has to do at the jdc

somebody like tiger is a dramatic golfer who spins his club when its going good and throw clubs and yells at the ball when its going bad
