Not a bad spot for him. Go collect some Nattys.

I saw also that Devon Moore is headed to South Dakota, good for him.

Wow, that's great for Zeb. Anyone know, is the new coach a passing style or more ground based?

I can't give much of an informed opinion on that, but I do know that, especially with their last two qb's, Wentz and Stick, they've relied on mobility in and out of the pocket. We saw first hand what Wentz could do, and the games I've seen Stick play in, he's been even more dangerous.

Smart Kid.

Although NDSU's heir apparent QB is Trey Lance, turned down Boise State , Iowa PWO, Minn PWO. I guess we will have a QB battle on our hands.

Klieman stole our current QB Commit Jaren Lewis out of Missouri to Kansas State. .

KnowNothing; Trey Lance will be better :)

Their new coach was their defensive coordinator, so my guess is that he keeps all the same staff and promotes some one to d-coordinator. Their current offensive coordinator is Courtney Messingham and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Do we know if Mess is going to Manhattan yet though? That'll be interesting.

Looking at their roster, their current QB is a 5th yr senior Easton Stick, so Zeb should have a chance as the other three are Fr Trey Lance and two RFr. Lakesbison says Lance is presumed starter (3* dual threat from SW Minn), but at least like room for Zeb to earn a role.

Here's another twist. If Trey Lance is such a great athlete, NDSU maybe is looking at him as a slot guy, and use him like the kid from the New Orleans saints Tayson Hill ?

Hill was a QB at BYU but had all sorts of leg problems. He's fitting nicely into N.O's scheme.

Iowa sometimes has trouble seeing around their current QB to find out what else is out there.

Pretty interesting Zeb Noland story..Not something you see everyday

After 2 years at NDSU, Zeb decided to be done playing and is a GA at South Carolina.
Due to a number of injuries, transfers, etc, South Carolina was pretty thin in the QB room. So they are moving Zeb from GA to QB, competing for playing time.

Football scoop has a good outline for how USC got to where they are at, plus there's the timeline of Zeb's time at ISU.
