Easy, just don't poopI am the designated knife sharpener in my family. Wet stone followed with a steel, then wash clean. 2015 your avatar has me wondering, do you wipe before you stand up or do you poop standing up and not wipe at all?
That is the one of the two stores I am familiar with. I worked at the Hy-Vee in Cedar Falls and would cover the Logan Ave Hy-Vee once a year for their Christmas parties. Probably worked there 3 times total during college. The store got a bad rap from the other 4 Hy-Vee's in the CF/Loo area (at the time). Very poor performing compared to the other 4, but not hard to see why given the neighborhood it's located in. Wasn't a bad store just a crummy location in my opinion. I just find it interesting that Hy-Vee is starting to shutter some stores. It will actually be the 2nd Hy-Vee to shut down in the Cedar Valley in the past 5 years or so, the other one being on University Ave.Statement for the 2 stores says "not meeting financial expectations." So not making ENOUGH money, as opposed to losing money. Sucks for north end of Waterloo.
Can also fill in as a poop knife when needed.Sawzall because it's not a single use utensil
Creeping Charlie or Creeping Jenny? Had it show up this spring and had never seen it before on this placeHostas, ferns and some sort of crazy weed that I spent an hour pulling out yesterday. Whatever the heck it is it's invasive as all get out. Must have pulled/dug out a few hundred of the them.
Correct. How much bus vs plane travel do Valley teams do? Probably depends on the sport, right?

Electric sharpeners abuse the crap out of knives. So don't use either.
They already have nearly all of the biggest brands and will likely have all them once the ACC becomes fair game. They'll lose some Iowa State fans, but they also won't have to pay Iowa State as much (or at all). They'll definitely make the arithmetic work in their favor, and I have no doubt this would.Gonna push back a little on this one, why would people choose to watch and spend money on a worse NFL? College sports are so dominant because of the connections people have to a school, whether it’s attending, a family member attending, or growing up near a college. If you want to see the power of that, Iowa State women’s basketball averages more fans than the average WNBA game.

I've only planted one variety of tomatoes for several years now--Amish Paste. They are a bit later maturing but have a great flavor and work so much better for sauces and salsa then traditional varieties. Since they don't get cross pollinated I save seed and start my own indoors. I plant them out when they are fairly small and cover them with a clear 2 liter diet coke bottle (with the lid and bottom removed), giving them each their own little greenhouse. When that becomes too small for them I remove the bottle and surround them with a bottom removed 5 gallon plastic bucket. This prevent wind desiccation and no need to harden them off. My homemade wooden cages fit directly over the bucket so they remain on all season long. If watering is necessary I just water inside the bucket and it soaks in where it is needed and avoids splashing up the plant reducing the risk of fungal diseases. If you need access to 5 gallon pails check your local Subway or similar--they get their dill pickles in them and will give them to you free or charge very little just to get rid of them.Need to pick out my tomato plants for a sale I'm going to tomorrow. My experiment planting in milk jugs did pretty well! Lots of flowers to plant.
